The turfgrasses that grow in our cities are varied. The XtremeGreen program is lawn-specific, meaning we have a specific agronomic program for each of the grass species. We use a combination of liquid and dry products. The liquid provides superior weed control, and the dry provides better controlled-release fertilizer. By using a combination, when most lawn services don’t, we find that it yields higher-quality, hearty, healthier lawns at no extra cost to you. Below is our  typical residential/commercial program for lawns.

1		Preventon Early Spring		Pre-emergent herbicide to control annual grasses. Broadleaf weed control.
2		Green Up Late Spring		Fertilization. Pre- and post-emergent weed controls. This is the best time to core aerate lawns.
3		Maintain I Early Summer		Controlled-release fertilization to maintain summer color. Broadleaf weed control as necessary.
4		Maintain II Mid-Summer		Controlled-release fertilization to maintain summer color. Broadleaf weed control as necessary.
5		Maintain III Mid- Summer		Controled-release fertilization to maintain summer color. Pre- and post-emergent weed control. Broadleaf weed control as necessary.
6		Prevention Late Summer/ Early Fall		Pre- and post-emergent weed control. This application prepares your lawn for winter sleep.
7		Winterization Late Fall		Pre- and post-emergent weed control. This application prepares your lawn for winter sleep.
